OPPO F3 Plus launched in India priced at $473 comes with Snapdragon 653 and 4GB RAM

After getting leaked on official Oppo website, Oppo has launched the new selfie expert smartphone Oppo F3 Plus smartphone in India in an official event in New Delhi today. The Oppo F3 Plus is priced at Rs. 30,990 (around $473) and comes with Gold and Black color options. The Oppo F3 Plus will be available in India starting April 1 via online retailer like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal and other offline retailers as well. This new ‘F’ series phone focuses on selfies and comes with a dual front facing camera with screen flash. There are no details available of its global debut as of now.

The specifications of the device are same as we saw in the leaked official listing. The Oppo F3 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU and comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box with ColorOS 3.0 on top and supports Hybrid Dual SIM slot where you can use two SIMs or 1 SIM + MicroSD card.

The Oppo F3 Plus features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8″ Sony IMX398 sensor, Dual Focus PDAF, 6P lens, dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, 4K video recording and comes with a dual selfie camera with a 16-megapixel lens having 76.4-degree wide-angle lens, 1/3.1-inch sensor, f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel lens with 120-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 4000mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity options. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button on front panel. It measures 163.63×80.8×7.35mm and weights 185 grams.
