Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie gets TENAA approval with dual front cameras

Asus is all set to launch the new Zenfone 4 series of smartphones including the ZenFone 4 Selfie in its official event scheduled for August 17 in China where the company is expected to launch the new ASUS ZenFone 4, ASUS ZenFone 4 Pro and ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie smartphone. The 4th member of the Zenfone 4 series has already been launched by the company with the name Asus Zenfone 4 Max was launched last month.

The company has now got the TENAA approval for the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie smartphone that has leaked the images of the device and has confirmed that it will come with dual front-facing cameras. The device is listed at TENAA with model number ASUS_Z01MDA and is expected to be powered by one of the Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 630 processors.

The TENAA approval listing confirms the dual rear cameras on the front of the device with a fingerprint scanner embedded on the physical home button below the display. The device has the volume buttons and the power button on the right side, on the back panel we have a single camera with LED flash and ASUS branding is available below the rear camera. The antenna lines are present on the top and bottom areas on the rear side. The device is listed with a White colour option.

According to the rumours, the Zenfone 4 Selfie will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor that comes with Adreno 506 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity. The device will have a 16-megapixel rear camera and will carry a dual front camera with a 12-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor.

According to the rumours, the Asus Zenfone 4 will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and will be powered by the Snapdragon 630 processor. It will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage capacity with an expandable storage slot with the help of a MicroSD card. It will run on the Android 7.1 (Nougat) OS with ZenUI 4.0 on top.

It will have Dual SIM support and will have a dual rear camera setup. The high-end Asus Zenfone 4 Pro is expected to feature a bigger 5.7-inch Quad HD display and will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity. The device will also have a dual rear camera with 2x zoom. More details will be available in the official event which is around 3 weeks away from now.
