Motorola Moto G5 GFXBench listing confirms Snapdragon 430, 3GB RAM and 5-inch FHD display

Motorola is expected to launch the new flagship of its Moto G series known as Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus in its MWC 2017 event in Barcelona at 4:30 PM CET on February 26th and we have already seen the device in leaked images and rumors. The Moto G5 is now spotted listed at GFXBench benchmark confirming most of the rumored specifications once again. The leaked images previously confirmed Android 7.0 Nougat OS, a newly designed fingerprint scanner, a rear camera with dual tone LED flash and other new design options. At GFXBench, the Moto G5 is listed with two variants with one having 2GB RAM and the other having 3GB RAM, similar to the predecessors of these devices launched last year.

The Moto G5 is listed at GFXBench with a 5-inch full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) processor that also comes with Qualcomm Adreno 505 GPU and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The listing further confirms that it has two variants with 2GB /3GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB inbuilt storage capacity including MicroSD card expandable storage capacity. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and will support dual-SIM slot. It features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera is also available. It will have GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G LTE with VoLTE and other connectivity options as well. No other specifications of the device are currently listed at GFXbench listing of the device.

The previous rumors says that the Moto G5 will have model number XT1685 and will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and this device is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity with unknown expandable MicroSD card storage slot. It will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It will be backed up by a 3080mAh battery and will also feature a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button on the front panel. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. The pricing details and availability details of these devices are currently unknown.
