Xiaomi Mi Note 2 (2015212) variant TENAA listed with 6GB RAM and a 5.7-inch FHD AMOLED Display
Xiaomi will soon launch a new variant of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 that will have the model number 2015212 as it has just cleared the Chinese regulatory TENAA with top-end specifications. As we already know that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes with model number 2015211 for the 4GB RAM variant and 2015213 for the 6GB RAM variant, this might be another Xiaomi Mi Note 2 variant if we check the new model number. This new device comes with similar specifications to the Mi Note 2 smartphone. The TENAA listing, however, doesn’t have any images of the device but it has all the specifications listed, so let’s check out the specifications of the device we spotted in the TENAA listing.
The TENAA listing for the Xiaomi 2015212 shows that this device will feature a 5.7-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and is powered by the 64-bit 2.35 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor that also comes with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity with no support for the MicroSD card expandable storage slot. According to the TENAA listing, this device will be available exclusively on China Mobile in China. The listing further confirms that this device will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with support for dual SIMs.
The listing further confirms a 23-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 4070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and other options. It measures 156.2 × 77.3 × 7.6 mm and weighs 171.6 grams. It comes with Glacier silver and bright black colour options.
