Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 launched with US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G along with 2800mAh battery
Samsung has launched a new smartphone in the Galaxy Xcover series called the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 which is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 smartphone launched in the year 2015. This device comes with US military Standard MIL-STD 810G body and with the IP68 certification that makes it dustproof and waterproof up to 1.5m in water for up to 30 minutes while the US military Standard MIL-STD 810G prevents any damage to the phone from a fall of up to 1.2 meters. The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 is priced at 259 Euros (around $272) and will be available for sale in black colour options in Europe from April onwards.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 specs
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 smartphone comes with a sensitive display that will work even when you wear gloves. It features a 4.99-inch HD display with a 1280 × 720 pixels resolution and is powered by the 14nm 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity that is expandable with a microSD card slot up to 128 GB. It runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS out of the box and comes with IP67 certification making it a dust and waterproof smartphone. It also comes with US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G as we discussed above.
It also features a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, a f/1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 2,800mAh battery and connectivity options are 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS and NFC. It weighs 172 grams. To recall m the Xcover 3 was launched with features such as a 4.5-inch (480 × 800 pixels) PLS TFT display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, MicroSD card expandable storage up to 64GB, Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, IP67 certification, US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front facing camera, 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and a 2,200mAh battery.
