Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro launched in China with 4GB RAM, octa-core processor and a 2,600 mAh battery
Samsung has quietly launched a new smartphone in China in the Galaxy C series called the Galaxy C5 Pro that comes with similar specifications like the Galaxy C7 Pro. The Galaxy C5 Pro comes with Lake Blue, Maple Leaf and Powder Rose color options and is listed for pre-orders at official Samsung China website and at the Samsung online store. It is priced at CNY2499 (around $362) and the device will be available for sale starting March 16 in China, however, there is no news available if and when it will be available outside of China. It will also be available for sale via other online Chinese retailers like JD.com, tmall and Suning. Let’s now checkout the official specifications of the device.
The Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone comes with 5.2-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that comes with octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 2.2GHz along with the Qualcomm Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable via MicroSD card slot with up to 256GB of more storage capacity. It runs on the Android 7 Nougat OS out of the box and supports Hybrid dual-SIM where you can use two SIM cards or 1 SIM card+MicroSD card.
The Galaxy C5 Pro features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, F/1.9 aperture, FHD video recording @ 30fps and auto focus features. On the front, we have another 16-megapixel camera with F/1.9 aperture. It comes with a fingerprint scanner in the front physical home button that comes with support for Samsung Pay for digital payments. It comes with a 2600mAh battery and we have connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, USB 2.0, ANT+, USB Type-C port, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n 2.4 + 5GHz, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and sensors like Acceleration sensor, Gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, close sensor and RGB light sensor. It measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 7 mm and weights 145 grams.
