Meizu E2 launching on April 26 with 4GB RAM and 5.2-inch HD display

Chinese manufacturer Meizu is all set to launch a new smartphone on April 26th in China and has started teasing this new device via its Weibo channel. The smartphone the company will launch at this event is expected to be the Meizu E2 in the Meizu E series and is expected to come with mid-range specifications and multiple variants.

The Meizu E2 is expected to feature a metal unibody design and will also have a fingerprint scanner on the front-facing physical home button. The Meizu E2 will be available in Silver, Grey, Gold and Rose Gold colour options after its launch, however, no details are available about its pricing and availability. The official event will take place at Beijing Performing Arts Center at 3 PM China Time and we will have more details about the device in this official event.

Meizu E2 specs

The new teaser released by the company comes with a device front and back with the name Meizu E2 and the release date of 26th April. According to the rumours, the Meizu E2 will feature a 5.2-inch HD display having a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and will be powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core 64-bit processor.

It will have multiple variants with one having 2GB RAM + 16GB inbuilt storage, the second one having 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage and the last one having 4GB of RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage capacity with all support MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS-based company’s own Flyme OS 6.0 and it will also support Hybrid Dual SIM.

It will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2930mAh battery with fast charging will be available and we will also have connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and FM radio support as well.

It will measure 148.2 × 72.53 × 8.4mm and will weigh 138 grams. A fingerprint sensor will be available on the front home button. Recently, Chinese TENAA approved a new smartphone with the name Meizu M612C is expected to launch as the Meizu E2 smartphone. So, we have to wait until the 26th of April to have more details on this new Meizu device.
