Xiaomi Mi Max 2 images leaked, To feature a 5000mAh battery, Snapdragon 626 and 6.44-inch FHD display

Xiaomi is all set to launch the new successor of its last year’s smartphone Xiaomi Mi Max with the rumored name Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the rumors confirmed that this device will be more special and will feature a larger display than its predecessor. A weibo user has just shared an image from the device that shows the device rear panel, however, the leaked image doesn’t have the front panel view of the device. The leaked image of the device confirmed Gold color option, a fingerprint scanner, rear camera with dual tone LED flash and Type-C USB port. The device will also have a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with an infrared sensor on the top. The device also have the speaker grills at the bottom panel in center and it features a full metal unibody design just like its predecessor.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is rumored to comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core 14nm Snapdragon 626 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It will have 2 variants with one having 4GB of RAM + 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and the second one having 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity with both supporting MicroSD card expandable storage. It will run on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box with MIUI 8 on top. The device will support Hybrid Dual-SIMs.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, dual-tone LED flash and will also have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The MI Max 2 will be backed up by a 5000mAh battery and will support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. The device will feature a fingerprint sensor and will also have a infrared sensor on the top. According to the rumors, the company may unveil the Mi Max 2 in the tomorrow’s launch event where the company is going to launch the Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship, but its launch may be delayed according to some rumors online. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to launch with a 5.15-inch Full HD pressure-sensitive display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, 600 nits brightness, 94.4% NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio and will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 835 64-bit processor with Adreno 540 GPU, it will have 4GB/6GB LPDDR4 RAM and will have 64GB/128GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage. It will run on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with MIUI OS on top and will support dual-SIMs. It will feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, OIS, 4K video recording and will also have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is expected to be backed up by a 3000mAh battery and will have 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options. The device will also have a ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
