OnePlus is going to launch its new flagship and the successor to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T flagships called OnePlus 5 this summer with top end specifications and affordable price tag. The device have been leaked a number of times online and this time a third party retailer has listed the device with price and images of the device. Many people asked that why will OnePlus launch the OnePlus 5 instead of OnePlus 4 then the answer is that in China number 4 is considered as unlucky, so possibilities are that the next OnePlus flagship will called OnePlus 5. The OnePlus 5 is listed at Gearbest with $688 price tag and according to the listing, it features a 5.5 inch QHD 2K display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.35GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor that comes with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 8GB of RAM and comes with 64GB inbuilt storage capacity that will be expandable via MicroSD card with up to 128 GB storage. It runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box and will also support Dual-SIMs (nano-SIM + nano-SIM). It will feature a 23-megapixel rear camera and will also have a 16-megapixel front facing selfie camera. But if check the images posted by gearbest, the device has a dual rear camera setup, so it might have a secondary 23MP camera sensor as well.

It is expected to be backed up by a 3600 mAh battery with Dash Charge 2.0 support but according to the Gearbest listing, it will have a non-removable 4000 mAh battery instead. It will support connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi and options. It will have sensors like Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, E-Compass, Gyroscope, Hall Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Touch Sensor and will also have a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button on front.

It measures 152.7×74.7×7.35mm and weights 158g. The device features a bottom-facing speaker and dual microphone for noise cancellation. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the front panel on the home button.
