Gionee S10, Gionee S10B and Gionee S10C announced, TENAA listings and more
Gionee today launched 3 new smartphones in its official event in China in the Gione S10 series including the new Gionee S10, Gionee S10B and Gionee S10C. The Gionee S10 comes with flagship series specifications whereas the Gionee S10B and Gionee S10C come with mid-range specifications. The Gionee S10 and S10B are currently listed on the official online Gionee Shop while the Gionee S10C is currently missing from the official website.
The Gionee S10 is priced at 2599 yuan (around $378) with 6GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity while the Gionee S10B with 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant will be available for 2199 yuan (around $320). The Gionee S10c is priced at 1599 yuan (around $233) for 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The Gionee S10 comes with Cherry Gold, Dark Black, Indigo Blue and Primrose Green colour options.
The Gionee S10 features a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920× 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor with Mali-T880 GPU. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM along with 64GB internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 128GB with a microSD slot. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Amigo 4.0 OS and supports Hybrid Dual SIMs.
It features a dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors having dual-tone LED flash. It also comes with a dual front-facing camera with 20-megapixel + 8-megapixel cameras. It is backed up by a 3450mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It has a fingerprint sensor on the front-facing home button and it measures 155 x 76.78 x 7.35 mm with 178 grams weight.
The Gionee S10B features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920× 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali T860 GPU and comes with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB internal storage capacity with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It also runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) based Amigo OS and supports Dual SIMs.
It features a dual rear camera as well with 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. It also comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 3700mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. A fingerprint sensor is available on the front home button.
Lastly, the Gionee S10C features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with 1280 × 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. It runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) based Amigo OS and supports Dual SIMs again. It comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a single 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 3100mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A fingerprint sensor is available on the physical front home button.
Gionee started teasing the Gionee S10 via its Weibo account and has also mentioned May 26th as the official event date. The Gionee S10 was listed at TENAA with model numbers GIONEE S10B and GIONEE S10BL. Both come with a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and this device is powered by a 2.0GHzocta-core processor that is expected to be the MediaTek Helio processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable with the help of a MicroSD card of up to 128 GB. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and will support Dual-SIMs as the previous variants of the device supported in the past.
TENAA listings confirmed a 13-megapixel dual-rear camera and also comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie lovers. It is backed up by a 3700mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, Type-C port and other connectivity options as well. it also comes with FM Radio support. It measures 154.5 × 76 × 7.6 mm and weighs 176.6 grams. It comes with Gold and black colour options. A fingerprint scanner is available on the physical front home button.
