Samsung launches Galaxy J5 (2017) and the Galaxy J7 (2017) officially

Samsung has launched the new Galaxy J 2017 lineup of smartphone that includes the Galaxy J3 (2017), Galaxy J5 (2017) and the Galaxy J7 (2017) in Europe. The company has already launched the Galaxy J3 2017 in May and now it has launched two other 2017 variants above. The new Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) is priced at 270 Euros (around $304) while the Galaxy J7 (2017) is priced at 339 Euros (around $332) and will be available with Black and Gold color options. Both will be available in June and July in Europe. The global availability details of these phones are currently a mystery and we can have more details on it in the upcoming weeks. All the new devices comes with metal unibody design. The Galaxy J5 2017 was previously spotted listed by Amazon France as well.

Galaxy J3 (2017)The Galaxy J5 (2017) comes with a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU and has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 16GB (eMMC 5.1) of internal storage capacity and also supports expandable storage capacity up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) and supports Dual SIMs. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture and also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It has a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button on front. It measures 146.3×71.3×7.9 mm.

It has 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16GB (eMMC 5.1) of internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 256GB with microSD card. It run son the Android 7.0 (Nougat) and supports Dual SIMs. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture and has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It has 3600mAh battery and 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity options. A fingerprint sensor is available on the physical home button on front. It measures 152.4×74.7×7.9mm.

The Galaxy J3 2017 was launched in May with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos Exynos 7 Quad (7570) 14nm processor with Mali-T720 GPU. it comes with 1.5GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and comes with single SIM support. It features a 5-megapixel rear camera with 4x digital zoom, FHD recording @30fps, LED flash and f/1.9 aperture while we have a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera comes with multiple features like gesture control and beauty effect while in selfie mode and also supports auto, pro, sports, panorama, sound & shot, and selfie shooting options.

It comes backed up by a 2600mAh removable battery that can give up to 23hrs of talk time and up to 17hrs of standby time. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n that is also 2.4GHz capable, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS connectivity options. It measures 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.7 mm and weights 147 grams. As its a carrier based phone it will have bloatware apps like DIRECTV, AT&T Smart Wi-Fi, AT&T App Select, Video Call, Visual Voicemail, Wi-Fi Calling, AT&T Call Protect, AT&T Protect Plus, YPmobile, DriveMode, Smart Help, and Smart Limits. It comes with accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensors.
