OnePlus 5 official render surface ahead of today’s unveiling
OnePlus is going to launch its new flagship OnePlus 5 today in an official event and now we have the official leaked render of the device just before its launch. Evan Bass shared the leaked image of the OnePlus 5 that shows off a dual rear camera setup on the rear side and the leakster has also confirmed that it will have a 20-megapixel+16-megapixel dual rear camera combo. The fingerprint scanner on the front physical home button and the power and volume buttons are present on the left panel of the device. We already know that the OnePlus 5 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC and will have 8GB of RAM as confirmed by Amazon India listing of the device. The OnePlus 5 was previously spotted listed by AnTuTu benchmark and on Gearbest confirming the specifications again.

It was spotted listed at AnTuTu recently with model number OnePlus A5000 and comes with a Full-HD display having 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 OS out of the box and comes with 6GB of RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity. According to the AnTuTu listing, it has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front facing camera. No other details about the device are listed at AnTuTu benchmark listing. So the device have two variants with 6GB and 8GB of RAM options with 8GB RAM variant supporting 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity.
The OnePlus 5 was also advertised in India via a TV ad during the India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy Cricket match. The rumored specifications of the OnePlus 5 includes a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and DCI-P3 color coverage. it will be powered by the 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU and will have two variants with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage (UFS 2.1 ) and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage. It will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box with Oxygen OS on top. It will also support Dual SIMs.
The OnePlus 5 will feature a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel camera having dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF along with a second 20-megapixel camera with f/2.6 aperture. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera will give best selfie photos to the users. The device will be backed up by a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge feature for fast charging and connectivity options that will be available are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and USB Type-C. A fingerprint sensor will be available on the front physical home button. The OnePlus 5 is expected to be priced at $479 and is expected to be available around 33000INR in India as it will launch in India on 22nd June.
