Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9 Plus most detailed configuration and appearance

As we recently covered in our latest article on Samsung Galaxy S9 that the Korean tech giant is all set to launch its next S-Series flagship next year. Again some new rumours have surfaced through a post on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo revealing almost all the specs and the minor details about the upcoming flagship.

As per the renders surfaced, the device will come in two variants, S9 and S9 Plus (S9+), both of which will sport the same curved edge “Infinity Display”. The “plus” variant will sport a slightly larger 6.2-inch QuadHD SAMOLED display unlike the 5.8-inch QuadHD Super AMOLED display on the S9 as we have seen in the last year’s S8 and S8 Plus.

This time Samsung seems to make a slight change by adding a dual camera setup on the S9 Plus and only a single camera setup on the S9 variant. It seems that Samsung has planned to place the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone just below the camera module. The front looks way cleaner this time with minimal bezels.

Now talking about the performance, the device is said to sport the latest Snapdragon flagship chipset, Snapdragon 845 processor, built on the 10nm technology. The S9 series is said to be the first set of devices to sport the chipset. Apart from this, some variants will also come with the Exynos counterpart based on the 10nm technology. The device is said to come with 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB internal memory and expandable storage slots up to 256GB. There is still no word about the battery size but both the variants will come with a better Adaptive Charging Technology, an in-house technology of Samsung as a counterpart of Quick Charging technology by Qualcomm
