10.Or D specs

The 10. or D sports a 5.2-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It comes with a hard polycarbonate shell, instead of a metal back, typical for phones at this price. Under the hood is the budget 64-bit Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308. The 2GB RAM variant comes with 16GB of internal storage and the 3GB RAM variant offers 32GB of onboard storage. It also includes a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage.

Talking about the camera the device sports a 13 Megapixel sensor on the back with dual-tone LED flash and a 5 Megapixel sensor on the front. There is also support for PDAF for the focusing department. A fingerprint sensor is also present on the back, claiming to unlock the device in under 0.3 seconds, making the device a class apart from the phones falling under this price range. The worthy competitor to this phone is the Redmi 5A, but still, it lacks a fingerprint sensor, which makes it fall behind.

In terms of software, the device comes preloaded with the Android 7.1.2 version of Nougat, which is quite acceptable for the price. There is no word regarding an update to Android Oreo, which I feel will be too much to ask keeping in mind the price. The phone comes with dual sim and micro SD card support supporting up to 128GB.

The phone also comes with a 3.5 headphone jack port and a micro USB port. Talking about the battery, the device comes packed with a massive 3500mAh battery, which is quite rare to see at this price and is even larger than the 3000mAh battery on the Redmi 5A. But sadly there is no support for any type of fast charging. The company claims that the phone can last 10 days on standby with one single charge cycle.

Regarding the price, the 2GB and 16GB variant starts at ₹4,999 and the 3GB and 32GB model comes at ₹5,999. As the name or tag suggests the phone will be an Amazon India exclusive phone with the sale starting from 5th January 2018.
