HTC U11 EYEs expected to launch on January 15: Evan Blass

Evan Blass has just confirmed that HTC might launch a new mid-range smartphone rumored as HTC U11 EYEs on January 15 which will be the downgraded variant of the HTC U11 Plus smartphone. He has completely revealed the design and specifications of the HTC U11 EYEs smartphone by leaking the images of the device in his tweet. This new device was codenamed “Harmony” as we saw in its previous leaks and was expected to be launched as the next HTC U series flagship, but now Evan Blass has removed every confusion about this smartphone in his tweet.

According to the Smartphone leaks king @evleaks, the new HTC U11 EYEs will feature a 6-inch Super LCD3 screen with full HD + resolution and will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. It will carry 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity that will also be expandable by microSD card slot. It will still run on the Android Nougat OS out of the box instead of Oreo but we can expect an update to Oreo aster the device launches officially on January 15th. It will carry a 3930mAh battery that is excellent of r a 6-inch device. It will have USB Type C port and will be water and dust resistant with IP67 ratings. The device will also carry the Edge Sense feature that is currently available with the HTC U11 smartphone.

The HTC U11 EYEs will be available with Black, silver and red color options. To recall, the HTC U11 Plus was announced with a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD 6 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage options and it also supports expandable storage up to 2TB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense U.I. It features a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 rear camera with Dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF),BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, 1.4μm pixel, 4K video recording, 3D Audio.

It also comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor, 85° field of view, 1080p video recording. It is backed up by a 3930mAh built-in battery with QuickCharge 3.0 feature and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS,USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 and has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It also comes with HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res audio certified and HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition. It also comes with water and dust resistant features with IP68 ratings. It measures 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5mm and weights 188 grams.
