While the Motorola Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus were introduced last summer, the fact is that Motorola used to renew its famous family of Moto G smartphones during the month of February, specifically in the framework of the Mobile World Congress. Everything seems to indicate that there will be no changes in this regard and the brand held by Lenovo will see in the aforementioned technology fair its new generation of mid-range smartphones. We are referring to the Motorola Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. Three models that have transcended characteristics, price and even design.

Design of the Moto G6

If the images disseminated by Droid Life prove to be reliable, Motorola addresses an update of its Moto G based on the design line of the latest standard bearers of the firm. Although, according to the filtered images, there is a clear predominance of the curved shapes that have shown previous generations of Moto G, this time Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus could give way to 3D glass as a protective layer of the carcass to the detriment of aluminum, very much like the one seen last year on the Motorola Moto X4.

As for the front, the most distinguished features would be those of the layout of the physical Home button in the lower part - in all probability with an integrated fingerprint sensor - as well as the renewal of the aspect ratio of the screen. And is that in the new Moto G6, the firm would bet completely for a display 18: 9, the trend currently in the smartphone market.

If you look at the images that show some of the equipment from the back, we appreciate a finish with some more pronounced curved lines. However, it is the camera that takes all the prominence to once again show a large bulge in which a set of two cameras is available.

Characteristics of Moto G6

The filtration of which we echo also has left behind the trace of the technical sheet of the future Moto G6. At least the most outstanding characteristics of each of these.

In the case of the Motorola Moto G6, we would have the aforementioned 18: 9 screen. An LCD panel with a diagonal of 5.7 inches and FullHD + resolution, or what is the same, 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.

In terms of performance, it is expected that the Moto G6 processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and comes with two versions of the model with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB, as well as another more prominent version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB.

The dual rear camera of this Moto G6 would be equipped with sensors of 12 and five megapixels, while the front camera would have in its interior with a sensor of 16 megapixels.

The autonomy of the Moto G6 would be supported by a battery of lithium polymers with a maximum capacity of up to 3,000 mAh.

Moto G6 Play

Characteristics of the Moto G6 Plus

The Motorola Moto G6 Plus will be placed back in the manufacturer's catalog as the most outstanding version. This condition is due to a more powerful hardware, such as a 5.93-inch FHD + screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. In the memory section, the Moto G6 Plus would be represented by versions of 3, 4 and GB of RAM, as well as an internal memory of 32 and 64 GB. The battery of the model would amount to a capacity of 3,200 mAh.

On the Motorola Moto G6 Play, the supposedly more modest version of the three Moto G6s would stand out for including a large 4,000 mAh battery inside.

Price of the new Moto G6

If the leak today is right, Motorola will set for the new Moto G6 prices ranging between 240 and 330 dollars, about 195 and 270 euros respectively to change. Obviously, it is information oriented to the North American market, so the reality is that prices in Europe would be increased above that range by not respecting the currency conversion in its 1: 1 factor.
