Vivo launches X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint scanner

We have seen lots rumors about the in display fingerprint scanner technology that will be available in the future smartphones. But a Chinese smartphone company Vivo has done the impossible before the other popular smartphone companies. In an official event in China, Vivo launched the world’s first in-display fingerprint scanner smartphone Vivo X20 Plus UD. The Vivo X20 Plus UD also comes with dual rear camera and comes with similar specifications like the Vivo X20 Plus smartphone. The device is priced at 3,598 yuan (around $568) and the pre-orders for the device are up on the official Vivo store online in the country. The device will be available for sale in China from February 1st. It comes with Black color option with Gold accents on the frame and around the rear camera. No details are currently available about its global debut.

The Vivo X20 Plus UD features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ 18:9 Super AMOLED display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage capacity that is expandable further up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It comes with Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots.

It features a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera having LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, OIS along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera. It also comes with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with soft LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. It is backed up by a 3905mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS connectivity options. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and ES9318 DAC. It measures 165.2 × 80.02 × 7.35mm and weights 183.1 grams.
