Over the last few months, we have been gathering a good number of details about the phone pair that Samsung will present at the end of February. Thanks to this filtration, one of the last before finally knowing the new S9, it is confirmed that the next generation of the Galaxy S line will be formed by two members, who share some other details with the current Galaxy S8 and S8 +, Like the 5.8 and 6.2-inch OLED curved screens, with reduced screen frames.

On the other hand, and as expected, in this generation Samsung has taken the opportunity to polish details and the Galaxy S9 and S9+, instead of supposing the revolution in terms of design of their predecessors, will be two terminals with a conservative essence, with updated components and some other interesting added.

Internally, both devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor in the United States and China, while the rest of the regions will receive the Exynos 9810 chip variant. The configuration of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is maintained in the model of reduced size, while the Galaxy S9+ will come with 6 GB of RA and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity.

Samsung intends to place a greater emphasis at the time of the presentation of their new phones, as already made clear in the invitation to the event itself in the photographic section. Both will have a system, both software and hardware, renewed, whose main protagonist would be the new mode “super slow-mo”, capable of recording video at 480 frames per second at a resolution of 720p.

The two phones, in addition, will have a main sensor of 12 megapixels, able to adjust its aperture variably between f / 2.4 and f / 1.5. However, the 12-megapixel camera of the Galaxy S9 + will be accompanied by another sensor of the same size. This camera, however, will have a fixed aperture. On the front, an 8-megapixel sensor should be more than enough for most of our selfies, and without leaving this front, we will find a surprise as pleasant as stereo speakers.

Another detail commented on by Evan Blass is the new arrangement of the main photographic system: vertical. In this way, Samsung leaves space just below the camera – or cameras, in the case of the S9 + -, to include the fingerprint reader in a much more accessible location, in the style of the recent Galaxy A8 and A8 +.
