Huawei Nova 3 announced with 6GB RAM and with dual front and rear cameras

Chinese companies are launching high-end smartphones in China as well as in the other  competitive markets like some of the Asian markets including India. Chinese company like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo have launched high-end smartphone with affordable price tag in such markets already. The Chinese Huawei has launched the new Nova series phone Nova 3 with dual front and rear cameras at just $450 which will force other smartphone makers to launch more affordable smartphones. Huawei Nova 3 is priced at 2999 yuan (around $446) for the high end variant with 6GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage and is available via online store vmall. We are still not sure when it will be available outside Chinese market.

The Huawei Nova 3 features the face unlocking feature that uses the infrared light to gather user’s face information even in dark conditions. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 3D curved glass notch display, 85% NTSC Color Gamut and 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 970 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) 10nm processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, i7 co-processor, NPU and GPU Turbo. It comes with 6GB RAM along with 64GB / 128GB internal storage options and additional expandable storage up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 and supports hybrid Dual SIMs. It comes with 3D Qmoji which is similar to the Apple’s Animoji and also comes with a glass back.

It has a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, CAF along with a secondary 24-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and it comes with AI scene recognition that can detect over 500 scenes. It has a dual front facing camera available with a 24-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. It has a 3750mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, USB Type-C connectivity options as well. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back. It measures 157.0×73.7×7.3mm and weights 166 grams.
