Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro announced with dual front and rear cameras
Xiaomi has finally launched the new Note series smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro after some leaks and rumours. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is Xiaomi’s first phone to have 4 AI cameras.

Redmi Note 6 Pro Price
It’s currently launched for the Thailand market where it is priced at 6,990 Thai Baht (around $216) for the 4GB + 64GB inbuilt storage variant and will be available in the country at the ongoing Thailand Mobile Expo and on the e-commerce website Lazada.
Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications
The Note 6 Pro has a similar design to the Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi Mi A2 but the main highlight of the device is the dual camera setup on the rear and front sides. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with 2280×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage variant with an option to expand the storage of the device up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI out of the box and supports Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD).
It features a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD focus, and EIS along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera. It also has a dual front-facing camera with a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 aperture along with a secondary 2-megapixel front camera. It has a 4000mAh battery and supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and an infrared sensor as well. It measures 157.9 x 76.38 x8.2mm.
To recall, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has similar specifications like the processor, design, battery etc. It has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display, the new 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU, 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM options along with 64GB (eMMC 5.0) internal storage, expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card slot, the Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9.
Other features include a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel camera having dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX486 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera with Samsung sensor, 1.12μm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture, a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and 1080p video recording, a 4000mAh battery and connectivity options available are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and also has an infrared sensor. It measures 158.6×75.4×8.05mm and weighs 181 grams.
