Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780F) FCC approved, Official listing confirms specifications
Samsung is soon going to launch the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE smartphone which was leaked previously in images and via Geekbench listing as well. Now the smartphone has received FCC approval in the US confirming that the device inching closer to its official launch. The device has also been seen listed officially by the Samsung website confirming its specifications and also revealing the official images of the device, first spotted by Evan Blass.
Previous leaks have already revealed most of the specifications of the device, and now the official listing has confirmed all of those rumours about the specifications of this device. The FCC listing, however, neither has any images of the device nor any specifications of the device apart from the model number SM-G780F.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is rumoured to launch with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, 407 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU / Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 990 7nm EUV processor with ARM Mali-G77MP11 GPU and will have 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage (UFS 3.1) capacity. It will run on the Android 10 OS with OneUI 2 on top and will also have Dual SIM support.
It will have a triple rear camera with a 12-megapixel main camera with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, OIS, another 12-megapixel Telephoto lens with 33° FoV, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, OIS, 3X Optic Zoom, a 12-megapixel 123° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It will also have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an 81° wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
It will have a 4500mAh with 15W fast charging support and will carry connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, MST and will also be water and dust resistant with IP68 ratings. it will have stereo speakers tuned by AKG and will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor. it will measure 74.5 x 159.8 x 8.4 mm and weigh 190g. It is expected to be available with White, Blue, Orange, Lavender, Green and Red colour options next month.
