Motorola announces Moto G 5G with a 5000mAh battery and Moto G9 Power with a 6000mAh battery
Motorola has just announced two new devices in the moto G series with the names Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power. These new mid-range devices come with a bigger battery and the Moto G 5G comes with 5G support while the Moto G9 Power doesn’t have 5G support. For the pricing, the Moto G 5G is priced at €299.99 (around $354) while the Moto G9 Power is priced at €199.99 (around $236).
The is currently available in select European countries and will be available in Latin America, India, the Middle East & Asia in the coming weeks with Frosted Silver and Volcanic Gray color options. The Moto G9 Power is currently on sale in Argentina and selected European countries while it will also be available in select markets like Latin America, India, the Middle East, and Asia in the coming weeks as well as Electric Violet and Metallic Sage colors.
The Moto G 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD 20:9 aspect ratio display with 394 PPI and 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.8GHz Hexa Kryo 570 CPUs) Snapdragon 750G 8nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 619 GPU coupled with 4GB of LPPDDR4x RAM along with 64GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage and 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM + 128GB UFS 2.1 inbuilt storage that is also expandable up to 1TB with MicroSD card slot. It runs on the latest Android 10 OS and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slots.
It has a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture, Quad pixel technology, PDAF, an 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, 4K 30fps, 1080p 60fps. It also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and has a 5000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support. It also comes with connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headset jack and also has other features like Bottom-ported loudspeaker, Smart PA and water-resistant IP52 ratings. It measures 166.1 x 76.1 x 9.9mm and weighs 212g.
The Moto G9 Power features a slightly bigger 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 264ppi, and 1640 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU coupled with 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage options and expandable storage up to 512GB with a microSD card slot. It also runs on the Android 10 OS out of the box and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slots.
