Samsung Galaxy A02 2021 announced with 5000mAh battery

Samsung has launched a new budgeted smartphone in the Galaxy A series with the name Samsung Galaxy A02 2021. This new device comes with entry-level specifications including an Infinity-v display, HD+ LCD, 2GB/3GB RAM, Android 10, 4G connectivity and a 5000mAh battery. The company hasn’t yet announced the pricing and availability details of the device but has confirmed the colour options for the device which are Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Red and Denim Gray.

It runs on the Mediatek processor and we don’t have a fingerprint scanner on this device. However, we can use the face unlock feature available by default for security purposes. The new Samsung Galaxy A02 2021 features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD infinity-V display with an 81.9% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 ratio, 270 PPI density and 1560 × 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739W 64-bit processor with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. The device comes with multiple variants like 2GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM + 32GB / 64GB inbuilt storage option. The device also supports expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 10 OS-based Samsung One UI 2.0 on top and is expected to get the new Android 11-based One UI soon. It also supports Dual SIMs (nano + nano + microSD).

It has a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture.
