Nubia RedMagic 6 and RedMagic 6 Pro announced with Snapdragon 888 and up to 18GB RAM

In partnership with Tencent, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia has launched two new gaming smartphones Nubia RedMagic 6 and RedMagic 6 Pro. Both these new gaming devices come with top-end specifications including AMOLED displays with a 165Hz refresh rate, 91.28% screen-to-body ratio, Snapdragon 888 powerhouse, and a bigger battery. These phones have an ICE 6.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling system that comes with a turbofan that can reach 20,000 rpm. These devices also come with an aero-grade heat-dissipation ice blade design.

Nubia RedMagic 6 Price

The Nubia RedMagic 6 is priced at 3799 yuan (around $587) with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 4099 yuan (around $633)  having 12GB RAM + 128GB storage and the top-end variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at 4399 yuan ($679). It comes with Black and Pulse colour options.

Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro Price

The Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro is priced at 4399 yuan ($679) for 12GB RAM + 128GB storage, 4799 yuan (around $741) for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 5299 yuan (around $819) for 16GB RAM + 256GB storage option. Another transparent variant of the device with 16GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at 5599 yuan (around$ 865) and the 18GB + 512GB variant is priced at 6599 yuan (around $1019).

Nubia RedMagic 6 and 6 Pro Specs

The Nubia RedMagic 6 and RedMagic 6 Pro devices come with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ 20:9 AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, 10bit 1.07 billion colours, DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, 630 nits brightness, and 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. These are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 5nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 660 GPU.

These devices support multiple variants with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM + 128GB (UFS 3.1) internal storage and 12GB / 16GB / 18GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB (UFS 3.1) internal storage options. These run on the Android 11 OS-based Redmagic OS 4.0. A triple rear camera is available with a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor camera. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera is also available.

Both devices support an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro has a 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support while the RedMagic 6 comes with a bigger 5050mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Connectivity options available are 5G NSA /SA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz + 6GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS ( L1/L5)+ GLONASS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. These devices also have stereo speakers, Dual Smart PA, and 3 mics. It measures 169×77.09×6.89mm and weighs 220 grams.
