Last month, Samsung launched the latest Fan Edition Samsung smartphone Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with high-end specifications, today, the company has announced the smartphone for the Indian market where it is priced at INR 49,999 with a single variant having 8gigs of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device is powered by Samsung's in-home built processor Exynos 990 and comes with Android 10 based OneUI instead of the new Android 11 based. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is priced at INR 49,999 and will be available in the country starting from October 16 via Samsung website, leading retail stores and via Amazon India website. Pre-booking starts October 9th with bundled offers for customer pre-ordering the device. The offers includes Samsung e-store benefits worth INR 4000, upgrade bonus of INR 3000 or cashback up to INR 4000 through HDFC Bank cards. It comes with Cloud Red, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud White colour options for Indian market. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE for India comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, 407 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate and 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 990 7nm EUV processor with ARM Mali-G77MP11 GPU coupled with 8GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 128GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 1TB with the help of a microSD card slot. The 6GB variant will not be available for Indian mrket as of now. It runs on the Android 10 with OneUI out of the box and comes with single SIM / Hybrid SIM slots. The S20 FE has a triple-rear camera with a 12-megapixel main camera with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, 79˚ FOV, OIS, an 8-megapixel Telephoto lens with 32° FoV, f/2.4 aperture, PDAF, OIS, 3X Optical Zoom, Up to 30x Super Resolution Zoom and a 12-megapixel 123° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with 80° wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. The device is water and dust resistant with IP68 ratings and comes with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. It has a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging, WPC Qi wireless fast charging and wireless PowerShare. It supports only Dual 4G VoLTE bands, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, MST, USB Type-C audio connectivity options and additional options like stereo speakers tuned by AKG, Surround sound with Dolby Atmos. Its worth mentioning that this device doesn't have 5G connectivity support for Indian market. It measures 74.5 x 159.8 x 8.4mm and weight 190g.
