Alongside Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra smartphones, Samsung also announced the launch of the new generation Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G foldable smartphone in the online virtual event. It is the successor to the last year's Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone. The new Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, as the name says, comes with 5G support. It comes with a foldable 7.6-inch edge-to-edge, nearly bezel-less Infinity-O Display, which will likely come with 120Hz refresh rate and has a 6.2-inch Infinity-O cover display as well. It also has a similar punch-hole camera inside and on the cover display like the Note 20 series while it has a triple rear camera setup on the rear side. It will probably run on the Snapdragon 865+ processor, however, the company hasn't revealed the full specifications of the device yet. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G It comes with Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colours options with an additional Thom Browne Edition in partnership with the iconic New York fashion house. The pricing and other details about the device will be available on the September 1st when it will be available for pre-orders. To recall, the Galaxy Fold was launched with a 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 4.2:3 aspect ratio main display, 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED 21:9 aspect ratio cover display. It has a new polymer layer that makes the display 50% thinner than the typical smartphone display making it flexible and tough. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 512GB of inbuilt storage (UFS 2.1). It runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. It features a triple rear camera with a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera with LED Flash, f\/2.4-f\/1.5 variable aperture, OIS, a 12-megapixel Telephoto lens with 45\u00b0 FoV, f\/2.4 aperture and a 16-megapixel 123\u00b0 Ultra Wide sensor with an f\/2.2 aperture with 0.5X\/2X optical zoom, up to 10X digital zoom. The device is powered by a 4,380mAh battery with fast Charging both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging and comes with stereo speakers tuned by AKG along with Dolby Atmos support.
