POCO F6 got FCC approval, launch imminent

The Xiaomi POCO F6 and the POCO F6 Pro are long rumoured to be launching soon, as the device has been spotted in several leaks already. The device has finally got the FCC approval today, hinting towards its imminent launch. The device is listed with the model number 24069PC21G at FCC confirming a few of the rumoured specifications again. The device was also listed on GeekBench, confirming most of the rumoured specifications.

POCO F6 at FCC

The FCC listing confirms that the device will run on the Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0, with 5G NR and 4G LTE connectivity support. No other details were available. The device was spotted on GeekBench with an octa-core 2.02GHz Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with 12GB of RAM and Android 14-based HyperOS 1 OS out of the box. The device scored 1884 points in the single-core test and 4899 points in the multi-core test. No other details about the specifications of the device were listed in GeekBench. We will also see the Xiaomi POCO F6 Pro launching along with the F6 with slightly upgraded specifications.

Xiaomi’s POCO recently launched the new POCO C61 which featured a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1650 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU along with 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM options and 64GB/128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage options and MicroSD expandable storage up to 1TB.

It runs on Android 14 and supports Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD). We have an 8-megapixel main rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, a secondary camera, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging with connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It measures 168.3 x 76.3 x 8.3mm and weighs 199 grams.
