Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e launched, Specifications and Price

After launching the V30e recently, Vivo has launched two new budgeted entry-level smartphones Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e in India. These two devices have identical specifications with some upgrades for the Vivo Y18 smartphone. bother device has a 5000mAh battery, display, MediaTek Helio processor and other entry-level specifications. This device has a composite plastic sheet on the rear panel.

Vivo Y18e Price

It is priced at INR 7999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant. It will be available in Space Black and Gem Green colour options.

Vivo Y18 Price

It is priced at INR 8,999 for the 4GB RAM + 6GB inbuilt storage option and INR 9,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage option. It will also be available in Space Black and Gem Green colour options.

Vivo Y18 Specifications

The new Y18 features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD with 1612 × 720 pixels resolution, 83% NTSC, 269 PPI, 90Hz refresh rate and up to 840 nits peak brightness. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor (Dual 2GHz Cortex-A75 + Hexa 2GHz 6x Cortex-A55 CPUs) with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. This device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage variants with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 1TB.

It runs on the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 and supports Dual SIMs (nano + nano + microSD). We have a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, and a secondary 0.08-megapixel camera with f/3.0 aperture, and LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with dust and water-resistant IP54 ratings. It measures 163.63×75.58×8.39mm and weighs 185 grams.

Vivo Y18e Specifications

As we discussed above, the Y18e has similar specifications to the Vivo Y18 but has different camera specifications. It has a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 0.08-megapixel camera with f/3.0 aperture and an LED flash. it has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. This has the same display but with 70% NTSC 60Hz, and 90Hz refresh rates. Additionally, it has 440 (normal) and 528 (high brightness) local peak brightness modes available which are not available with the Y18 as per the official listings. There is no fingerprint scanner available in the Y18e smartphone. Apart from these, the other specs are the same.
