In a Spring press conference in China, Huawei launched the all-new Nova series smartphone called HUAWEI Nova 9 SE which comes with mid-range specifications with a budgeted price tag. It is priced at CNY 2,199 (CAD $436) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant, whereas, another variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage comes with a price tag of CNY 2,399 (around CAD$ 475). This device will go on sale starting from March 24th in the home country, China. HUAWEI Nova 9 SE The new HUAWEI Nova 9 SE features a 6.78-inch FHD+ TFT LCD IPS display with up to 90 Hz frame refresh rate, 270 Hz touch sampling rate, and 2388 x 1080 pixels resolution. If we talk about the processor, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU which is quite impressive in this price range and can handle most of the games available on the play store. It also has 8GB of RAM which might be enough for games along with the impressive processor. It comes with 128GB and 256GB storage options with no expandable storage slot. It runs on the EMUI 12 based on Android 12 OS and supports Dual SIM slots. It has a quad camera on the rear side with a 108-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.56″ high-resolution sensor, f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, video recording up to 1080p. This device also has a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Talking about the battery, it has a 4000 mAh battery which might be a problem for gamers as they have to charge the device repeatedly, but the device supports 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge which can help charge the device quickly and make the gamers ready for the ultimate gaming experience. The device has connectivity options like dual VoLTE, GPS / AGPS / GLONASS / BeiDou / GALILEO / QZSS, Wifi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, and other options like HUAWEI Histen Audio, Device+ for smarter collaborations among other HUAWEI devices and USB C audio. It measures 164.64 x 75.55 x 7.94 mm and weighs 191 grams.
