Huawei P10 launching at February 26th MWC 2017 event, confirms Huawei’s video teaser

Huawei is long rumoured to launch its new flagship device in the Huawei P series known as Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus. We have seen lots of rumours about both devices in the past and now the company itself has confirmed the name and the February 26th launch of the device at the MWC 2017 event. The company has released a new video teaser on its YouTube channel that confirms the launch of the Huawei P10 which might be the bigger sibling of the device Huawei P10 Plus as well. The company’s video teaser titled ” #HuaweiP10 is coming!” on YouTube confirms the dual cameras once again and also comes with “Change the way the world sees you” text that confirms the upcoming Huawei device will have a superior camera and the teaser further comes with the Huawei P10 name and the Barcelona unveiling at MWC 2017 event.

The rumoured specifications of the Huawei P10 include a 5.2-inch QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and will be powered by Huawei’s own octa-core Kirin 960 processor that also comes with an octa-core Mali G71 graphics processor. It will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity variant and another variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage option. Huawei will feature a 20-megapixel and a 12-megapixel dual rear Leica branded sensors and it will have an 8-megapixel facing camera as well. It will be powered by a 3100 mAh battery. The Huawei P10 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED dual-curved display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and will be powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 960 processor with Mali G71 GPU. It will have 6GB of RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage variants with a microSD expandable memory slot with up to 256GB storage. It will run on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI 5.0 and will also have a hybrid Dual SIM option. It will feature a 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with Leica lenses, f/2.0 aperture, ring flash, Laser AF, OIS and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. It will be backed up by a 3,650mAh battery with fast charging and connectivity options available will be 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS and NFC. It will also have a fingerprint sensor and an iris scanner.
