As we already know that Samsung is going to launch two new flagship devices Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in its official event on March 29th in New York and we have already seen both the devices getting FCC approval and the Galaxy S8 getting the 3C approval in China. Both were also seen in leaked images in the past with the dual edge display and QHD screens and the Galaxy S8 plus was listed at Geekbench with Snapdragon 835 SoC. Now the Galaxy S8 with Snapdragon 835 is spotted listed at Geekbench with model number SM-G950U while the bigger Galaxy S8 Plus with Exynos 8895 is also spotted listed by Geekbench with model number SM-G955F. Let’s now check the specifications of both the devices we spotted at Geekbench.

The Galaxy S8 is listed by Geekbench with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and comes powered by a 1.90 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998) SoC. It comes with 4GB of RAM with no other specifications of the device listed. It scored 1928 points in the single core test and 5761 points in its multi core test. The bigger Galaxy S8 Plus is listed at Geekbench with 1.69 GHz octa-core Exynos 8895 processor, previously it was spotted listed at Geekbench with Snapdragon 835 SoC and model number SM-G955U. It comes with 4GB RAM and runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It scored 1978 in single core test while in multi core test it scored 6375 points. No other details about the device are listed at Geekbench.
The rumored Galaxy S8 specifications includes a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ curved Super AMOLED display with pressure sensitive feature along with 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or an octa-core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor. It will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage capacity with MicroSD card expandable storage. It will run on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS and will come with Hybrid Dual-SIM support.

It will feature a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture. It will be backed up by a 3000mAh battery with fast Charging via wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging options and we will have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 and NFC connectivity options. A 3.5mm headphone jack is expected and there will be a heart rate sensor, fingerprint sensor available on the rear side with Iris scanner and Barometer. The Galaxy S8 will be IP68 verified with water and dust resistance feature.
