Huawei’s Honor sub-division has just launched a new flagship and an upgraded variant of the Honor 8 smartphone called Honor 8 Pro. It is priced at 474.99 GBP (around $592) for UK and 549 Euros (around $585) for the Europeon market. The interested users can pre-order it via vMall and will also be available for sale via Amazon from April 20th. It will be available in Navy Blue, Midnight Black and Platinum Golf color options and also comes with Honor VR cardboard glasses. This new smartphone comes with upgraded hardware and interesting new features including Highlights feature that allows the users to share the images better. The gallery of the phone automatically reorder the images, videos and generate photo albums based on people, places and events. The device also comes with GoPro Quik app to create movies with advanced editing tools.
The Honor V8 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and 515 PPI. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 processor having 4 x Cortex A53 (1.8GHz) + 4 x ARTEMIS (2.4GHz) and also comes with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. It features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS with Emotion UI 5.1 on top and also supports Hybird Dual SIM option with nano SIM + nano SIM or Nano SIM+ microSD option.
