[Updated] Samsung Galaxy Note 8 retail box leaked, Confirms Galaxy Note 8 Edge variant as well

Samsung has recently launched their new Galaxy S series flagships Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus that comes with infinity displays and Bixby Virtual assistant features. The Korean based smartphone company is now all set to launch its new Note series flagship Galaxy Note 8 that might be the company’s biggest release after the Galaxy Note 7 saga.

Some images from the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 got leaked on weibo that confirms some the specifications of the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone and also confirms a bigger variant Galaxy Note 8 Edge. The leaked retail box of the Galaxy Note 8 confirms 64GB inbuilt storage option and the Samsung logo will be below the display on front panel, However, no images from the rear panel of the device got leaked.

The leaked retail box confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 flagship will feature a 5.7-inch QHD sAMOLED display and will have IP68 ratings that makes a phone water resistant and dust resistant. The Galaxy Note 8 smartphone will have 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and feature a 12-megapixel Dual pixel rear camera with an LED flash and will also have a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device will have an Iris scanner just like the Galaxy S8 series devices and will also support wireless charging.The device is again expected to have a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel just like the Galaxy S8 series duo.

The leaked images also confirms a 3.5mm audio jack and the USB Type-C port for the device at the bottom and the also comes with a S-Pen on the right bottom corner. We are not able to confirm if these images are real or fake, but looking at the images we can say that these are real and are from an official Galaxy Note 8 device box. Another leaked image from the weibo user also confirms the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Edge variant that has a single rear camera but no other specifications details are available about this device in his weibo post.

As per the rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.4-inch display that might be the Galaxy Note 8 Edge smartphone that we can see in the leaked images above. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor or the Exynos 8895 chipset out of the box and will have 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The device will be available with 32GB, 64GB, 128GB inbuilt storage options and will run on the Android Nougat OS out of the box with Hybrid dual SIM support. It will have the Iris scanner and will be IP68 certified for dust and water resistant.

According to the rumors, the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel wide-angle CIS along with a 13-megapixel telephoto CIS lens having dual 6P lenses, dual OIS and six-element lenses features.
