Motorola announces June 21st event, new Moto phones expected including Moto X4, Moto Z2 and Moto G5S
Motorola has just started teasing its upcoming event scheduled for June 21st in Brazil where the company is expected to launch new Moto smartphones and according to the rumors, we can expect the launch of the Moto G5S, G5S Plus, Moto Z2, Z2 Force and the new Moto X4 smartphone as well. The company’s Brazil division has issued a teaser (via motorola-fans) that comes with a girl taking a selfie on the new Moto device that might be the Moto Z2 or the Moto G5S or something else. Its still not clear what device the company will launch in this official event.

Motorola recently launched their new Moto Z2 series smartphone Moto Z2 Play in Brazil and has also launched it some other markets as well including India and has also launched the budgeted Moto C in India as well. If we talk about the high-end Moto Z2, then it is expected to have flagship series specs and was already spotted listed at Geekbench with multiple RAM options including 4GB and 8GB RAM. It was spotted at Geekbench with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and comes powered by the octa-core 1.90 GHz Snapdragon 835 (msm8998) processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 4GB/8GB of RAM according to Geekbench while other details about the device are currently unavailable. The device scored 1879 points in the single core test while it scored 6503 points in the multi-core test.

The Moto G5S Plus was spotted in a number of leaked images confirming Gold, Grey, Silver and White Gold color options for the device. The Moto G5S and G5S Plus are expected to feature the similar design like the Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones launched few months back. The bigger Moto G5S Plus will have a dual rear camera setup if we believe these leaked images. As per the rumors, the Moto G5S will feature a full-metal body and will carry a 5.2-inch full-HD display having 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. it is expected to be powered again by the octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor and will have 4GB of RAM with multiple inbuilt storage options. It will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat and will also support Dual-SIMs. It will have a fingerprint scanner on the front physical home button. The bigger Moto G5 Plus is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display and other similar features like the Moto G5S.

The Moto Z2 Play was recently launched with a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor, two variants with one having 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity while the second one having 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity, expandable storage with microSD card with up to 2TB storage, Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, dual SIM support, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front facing selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower charger, water repellent with nano-coating, 3.5mm jack and comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C (3.1), a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C and FM radio support.
