Samsung Galaxy C55 launched, Price and Specifications

Samsung Galaxy C55 is the company’s latest smartphone in the Galaxy C series. This new C series smartphone has similar specifications to the recently launched Galaxy M55 but has a different design with a vegan leather finish. Samsung Galaxy C55 Price

The new Galaxy C55 smartphone has been launched for the Chinese market. This new smartphone is priced at 1999 yuan for the 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage variant and 2299 yuan for the 12GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage option. It will be available for sale in China from the online Samsung store and offline channels from this week. There are no details if it will be available globally and when.

Samsung Galaxy C55 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy C55 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 nits peak brightness, 1080×2400 pixels resolution and Infinity-O cut. It is powered by an octa-core 2.4GHz, 2.36GHz, 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 4nm processor with Adreno 644 GPU. It has 8GB / 12GB of RAM with 256GB inbuilt storage variants with up to 1TB expandable storage with a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 14 OS-based Samsung One UI 6.1 and supports hybrid Dual-SIM (nano + nano / microSD) support.

It has a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, Digital zoom up to 10x, UHD 4K (3840 x 2160)@30fps and 240fps@HD slo-mo video recording and an LED flash. It has a 50-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

It has a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Connectivity options available are 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4GHz+5GHz, HE80, MIMO, WiFi direct, 1024-QAM, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, USB Type-C, NFC, USB Type-C audio, Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and the sensors available are an Acceleration sensor, fingerprint reader, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor. It measures ‎163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8mm and weighs 180 grams.

Galaxy M55 Price and Specifications

The Galaxy M55 was announced in March 2024 in India with a price tag of Rs. 26,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage, Rs. 29,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage and Rs. Rs. 32,999 for the 12GB GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage option. As we discussed earlier, it has the same specifications as the Galaxy C55 5G.
