Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has launched the new OPPO A5 5G smartphone in the Indian market today, following its launch in China in March this year. For the Indian market, this device comes with a MediaTek processor rather than the Snapdragon chipset. It has 6GB and 8GB of RAM options, rather than the 12GB option, which is available for the Chinese market. It has a slightly smaller screen than the Chinese variant. OPPO A5 5G Price for India
The new OPPO A5 5G for India is priced at INR 15,499 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage option, and INR 16,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. It comes with Aurora Green and Mist White colour options and is available for sale from the official Oppo India store.

The new OPPO A5 5G Indian variant comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with 1604 x 720 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 nits peak brightness, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 16.7 million 8-bit colours, 264ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm processor with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 @ 1072MHz GPU. It comes with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM options with additional up to 8GB Virtual RAM support and has 128GB UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage option with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 1TB.
It supports Dual SIMs and runs on the Android 15-based Colour OS 15 out of the box. It features a dual rear camera with a 50MP main 76° wide camera with f/1.88 aperture and a secondary 2MP Monochrome wide 89° sensor with f/2.4 aperture and an LED flash.
