Nubia Z17 Mini to be launching on March 21 with dual rear camera, 6GB RAM and a 3000mAh battery

We recently told you about a new teaser released by the Chinese Nubia company in which the company confirmed the launch of a new smartphone on March 21st at Shekou, China that will feature a dual-rear camera setup with no other details available. The teaser released by the company comes with two golden circles confirming the dual camera setup for this device followed by the release date March 21, 2017. Now, a weibo user has just shared some more details about this device including some of the specifications of the device. According to the user, this new device will be launched Nubia Z17 Mini and will be a successor to the Nubia Z11 Mini launched last year. This name also confirms that the company may also launch Nubia Z17 and Nubia Z17 Max smartphones.

The weibo user further confirmed that this device won’t be using the Snapdragon 835 SoC as we saw in the previous leaks for this device. He also shared a specs sheet of the device confirming most of the specifications of the device. According to this user, the new Nubia Z17 Mini will feature a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It will have two variant with one powered by a Snapdragon 652 processor along with 4GB of RAM and the second one will be powered by a Snapdragon 653 SoC with 6GB RAM. It will be available in black gold, blue and gold color options. The blue variant of the device will have with 4GB RAM and a Snapdragon 653 processor. All the variants will have 64GB (eMMC 5.0) inbuilt storage capacity.

The Nubia Z17 Mini will feature a dual 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 camera sensor on the rear side and there will be a 16-megapixel camera on the front panel for selfie lovers. It will be powered by a 3000mAh battery and will support Quick Charge 3.0 feature. The device will also have a USB Type-C port and the Nubia Z17 Mini will be priced at Yuan1899 (around $275). No details were shared about its global debut and global pricing and availability details. So we have to wait for more leaks and Nubia announcement on March 21st to have some more details.
