Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 FCC approved, Korea and US launch imminent

In the past, we faced the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 saga where the Galaxy Note 7 was exploding in houses, hand and even in pockets of its users leading towards the permanent ban of the smartphone in airlines and other public places. Samsung also permanently halted the production of the Galaxy note 7 units to avoid any further incidents. We have received a number of reports in the past about the launch of the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 smartphone and the device was leaked a number of times. The good news now is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is inching towards its imminent launch in Korea or may be in the US as the device has just got the FCC approval in the US.

The Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 code named ‘Grace R’ has just got the FCC approval with model number SM-N935KOR that will be the model number for Korea and as it has got the FCC approval we may expect the launch of the device in Korea and US simultaneously. The FCC documents for the Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 (SM-N935KOR) shows the tests and confirms other model numbers again like SM-N935K, SM-N935L and SM-N935K, SM-N935S. The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will have the same features like the original Note 7 and will be available for a lesser price than the original one. There are no news available when the company will launch it but we may expect it to be available in the next one or two months.

The main concern of this refurbished Note 7 variant will be its battery and we are sure that Samsung won’t be taking any further risks regarding users safety and will implement safety measures to avoid any incidents with the refurbished Note 7s. It measures 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm and weights 169g. Color options includes Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx.
