Nubia Z17 passes TENAA with dual rear cameras, 4GB RAM and 3100mAh battery

ZTE’s Nubia recently launched the Nubia Z17 Mini in the home country China with attractive price and flagship level specifications. With the launch of Z17 Mini, the company was also expected to launch the Nubia Z17 flagship device with top-end specifications including the new Snapdragon 835 chipset and looks like the device will be launched soon in China as the device has got the TENAA approval in China with dual cameras on the rear side, a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and a helfy battery. The TENAA listing for the Nubia Z17 reveals that it will feature a 5.5-inch IPS Bezel less curved Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and will be powered by the octa-core 1.59GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor having the Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity. If that inbuilt storage is not enough, we have a MicroSD card expandable storage slot as well with up to 128GB storage option. It runs on the newest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and will support dual-SIM slots. The device features a full-metal unibody design and we also have a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the device.

The Nubia Z17 features a dual rear camera with 23-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera sensors and a dual-tone LED flash. ‘Nubia” branding is available below the fingerprint scanner on the rear side. It is backed up by a 3100mAh battery and connectivity options available will be 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio and other options as well. It measures 152.66 × 72.44 × 7.95 mm and weights 170 grams. It comes with Silver and gold color options. There are no details available about the pricing and availability details of this device, we also have to wait for its global availability details with its official launch that might be very near.

To recall, the Nubia Z17 Mini was launched last month with a 5.2-inch Full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 85% NTSC color gamut. It comes powered by two processors including the octa-core Snapdragon 652 / 653 processors that comes with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4GB / 6GB of RAM along with 64GB inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable up to 200GB with microSD card and it runs on the Nubia UI 4.0 that is based on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear side.

It features a dual camera with 13-megapixel monochrome lens and a 13-megapixel RGB lens on the rear side with Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.2. aperture, OIS and 4K video recording. It also comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 2950mAh battery with fast charging feature and connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac. (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C port. It measures 146.65 × 72.5 × 7.45mm and weights 155 grams.
