Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Announced, Price and Specifications
Xiaomi not only announced the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 at the official event today but also announced the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 which comes with dual rear cameras and has a similar design to the Mi 5 smartphone.

Mi Note 3 Price
The Mi Note 3 is priced at 2499 yuan (around $383) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage option while it’s priced at 2899 yuan (around $445) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage option. However, it is the price for the Black variant while the Blue colour variant is priced at 2999 yuan (around $460). The company hasn’t shared any details of its global debut as of now. The Mi Note 3 features a curved glass body with an aluminum frame and comes with stereo speakers.
Mi Note 3 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, 550 nits brightness, 94.4% NTSC colour gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM available with 64GB / 128GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage variants. The device runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9 on top and it supports Dual SIMs just like the other Xiaomi devices.
It features a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.25μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, 4K video recording along with a secondary 12-megapixel camera with 1.0 μm pixel size, 52mm portrait lens and f/2.6 aperture. The device has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with a 2μm pixel size.
It is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and connectivity options available with the device include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C port as well. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button and also comes with an infrared sensor. It also comes with stereo speakers. It measures 152.6×73.95×7.6 mm and weighs 163 grams.
The Mi Mix 2 however, comes with a single camera and has a ceramic body. The Mi Mix 2 features a Snapdragon 835 SoC and other top-end features and 8GB of RAM that make it a real beast of all time. The Mi Mix 2 has a smaller display than its predecessor but it comes with powerful internals making it the true flagship of the year 2017.
Xiaomi Mi Note 3 was also spotted in a leaked image (via) from the device surface along with the rumours that confirm a dual-rear camera for the device with dual tone dual LED flash and looks similar to the Mi 6 dual rear camera. The device comes with a fingerprint scanner on the front panel embedded in the physical home button. The device features a near bezel-less design display and judging from the leaked image, the display size is expected to be around 6 inches or may be more. The release date and pricing details of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 are currently unknown.
