Samsung has launched the successor to the Galaxy J7 Prime called Galaxy J7 Prime 2 that comes with slightly upgraded specifications from its predecessor. The Galaxy S7 Prime was launched 2 years back in 2016 and its successor from the company is a surprises for all its fans worldwide. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is priced at Rs. 13,990 (around $215) and is available for sale via Samsung online shop and will be available via offline retailers as well. It comes with Black and Gold color options and comes with similar design like its predecessor. There are no details available about its global debut as of now.
The new Galaxy J7 Prime 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD TFT display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor and comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage capacity which is further expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS out of the box and supports Dual-SIMs. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. It has a 3300mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the front as its predecessor. It measures 151.7 x 75.0 x 8.0mm and weights 170 grams.
