Motorola One Power with Android One launched in India

After teasing the new Android One smartphone for the Indian market, Motorola has launched the new Motorola One Power smartphone in the country that runs on the Android One out of the box. The device is priced at Rs. 15999 (around $220) with the Black color option. It comes with a notch display with 81% screen-to-body ratio and has a fingerprint scanner available on the rear side inside Motorola logo. It runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box and will receive Android 9.0 (Pie) update as well as Android Q update and the Android security updates for three years from the initial global launch date as well. It has a massive 5000mAh battery with up to 2 days of battery life and is also bundled with a 15W charger that will offer up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging. The Motorola One Power features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio with 2246 × 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage variants with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It comes with Dual SIM support and runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS out of the box.

It features a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera. It has a 12-megapixel front-facing camera as well. It has a bigger 5000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and comes with P2i water-repellent nanocoating. It measures 155.8×75.9×9.98mm and weights 170 grams.

In India, the Motorola One Power will compete with the already launched Android one devices like Xiaomi Mi A2 and Nokia 6.1 Plus that comes with the similar price tag in the Indian market. Nokia has also recently launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus Android One smartphone in India priced at Rs. 10999 is also a good pick for the Android One and Nokia lovers.
