Samsung today launched a new Galaxy F series device Samsung Galaxy F22 that comes with a SAMOLED 90Hz refresh rate display and has a bigger 6000mAh battery than we have seen in many Galaxy F series and M series devices already. It is priced at Rs. 12,499 where the users will have 4GB RAM + 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and Rs. 14,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant. This device will be available for sale via Flipkart starting from July 13th with an introductory offer where the customers pre-ordering the device will get Rs. 1000 discount.

The device features a plastic back and comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ 20:9 Infinity-U HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. It gets powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 12nm processor (Dual 2GHz Cortex-A75 + Hexa 2GHz 6x Cortex-A55 CPUs) with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes with variants having 4GB LPDDR4x RAM + 64GB (eMMC 5.1) inbuilt storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM + 128GB (eMMC 5.1) inbuilt storage capacity that is also expandable up to 256GB additional storage with the help of a microSD card slot. It supports Dual SIMs (nano + nano + microSD) and runs on the Android 11 OS-based OneUI Core 3.1.

It has a quad-rear camera with a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor and another 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also has a 13-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It has a 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging delivering 130 hours of music playback, 40 hours of talk time, 25 hours of video playback and 24 hours of internet usage time.

It comes with a 15W inbox charger. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with the support of the Samsung Pay Mini application. Connectivity options available are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and support for Dolby Atmos as well. It measures 160x 74 x 9.4mm and weighs 203gm.
