Apple’s first-ever foldable smartphone, Apple iPhone fold, might hit the market this year, and the leaks suggest it’s going to be pretty amazing. The phone might launch with the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro versions, giving 3 options at the same time to Apple buyers.
A foldable iPhone has been in the works for a long time, as per leaks, and it finally might be the perfect time for Apple to release it. Popular tech reviewer Sonny Dickson leaked the render versions of the foldable iPhones, which look pretty neat.

Apple has yet to make any public announcement or verify even the existence of a foldable iPhone. According to the leaked designs, the phone is expected to have a book-like appearance and might have a dualback cameraa. The screen cover display is expected to be 5.3 inches, while the inside display might be 7.8 inches.
The rest of the hardware on the foldable iPhone is expected to be the same as its normal version, with power buttons, volume up and down buttons and a potential action button. Apple is only testing blue and black versions of the smartphone yet, according to leaks. It is also expected to carry Apple’s A20 Pro Chipset, which is the best in the segment so far.
Apple iPhone Fold: potential release window and pricing
The foldable iPhone is expected to be launched in September with the iPhone 18 Pro. According to multiple reports, the Apple iPhone Fold is expected to be priced between $2000 to $2500, which is fairly higher than the standard versions. Analysts at different firms have also estimated the price to be between $1600 to $2400. However, it will be worth seeing if the product is actually value-for-money or just a gimmick to try and match Samsung’s dominance in the market.
If Apple decides to launch iPhone Fold, iPhone 18, and iPhone 18 Pro together, all three phones will have to be strategically priced so that they don’t eat into each other’s sales. Apple hasn’t had a great experience with the Plus versions of the iPhone, and they’re banking big on the foldable version.
