Samsung Galaxy Halo launching instead of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) via Cricket Wireless

Samsung Galaxy Halo is going to launch its Galaxy J series smartphone Galaxy J7 2017 via Cricket Wireless carrier according to the leakster @evleaks. The device is expected to have similar features to the Galaxy J7 2017 but there may be some changes in the specifications.

It is going to be priced at €340 and is expected to be available next month however, there are no details available about this device officially, for which we may have to wait for a couple of days. The Galaxy J7 2017 is already launched as Galaxy Wide 2 in Korea and we can expect that it will be available with other names in some more regions.

To recall, the Galaxy J7 2017 was launched earlier this month priced at 339 Euros. It was launched with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and will be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. It has 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16GB (eMMC 5.1) of internal storage capacity with expandable storage of up to 256GB with a microSD card.

It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and supports Dual SIMs. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It has a 3600mAh battery and 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS connectivity options. A fingerprint sensor is available on the physical home button on the front. It measures 152.4×74.7×7.9mm.

In Korea, it was launched as Galaxy Wide 2 featuring a 5.5-inch HD LCD with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and 2.5D rounded glass display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, while the exact name of the processor is not known yet. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. The device also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 3300mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and other connectivity options as well. It measures 151.5×76.4×8.6mm and weighs 170 grams.
