Vivo X20 gets 3C approval, Vivo X20 Plus in the tow as well

Vivo is rumored to be working on the new Vivo X series devices Vivo X20 and Vivo X20 Plus and both of these are said to be the successors to the Vivo X9s and X9s Plus smartphones launched in July this year. Looks like those rumors about the Vivo X20 and Vivo X20 Plus were true as one of these unannounced smartphone has just received the 3C approval from China. The Vivo X20 has received the 3C approval along with the second variant Vivo X20A, however, the bigger variant Vivo X20 Plus haven’t yet received the 3C approval. The 3C approval for the device doesn’t have any specifications listed, so we have to wait for its TENAA approval that will give more details about its specifications and will also give us an idea about its design with the leaked images.

An image from an unknown Vivo device was also leaked on Chinese Vivo with bezel-less display and White color option, it was said to be the upcoming Vivo X20 smartphone. But we have to wait for some more leaks to confirm it. According to the rumors, the new Vivo X20 and X20 Plus might feature an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The Vivo X20 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080p display and will be powered by the 1.84 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor and will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity. It will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and will feature a full metal body. The bigger Vivo X20 Plus is rumored to come with a 6-inch Quad-HD display and will have 6GB of RAM. The rumors further claims that the upcoming Vivo phone will feature a triple rear camera. For more details about these devices, we have to wait for more leaks and rumors.

To recall, the Vivo X9 was launched with a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display, a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity, Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with Funtouch OS 3.0, dual-SIMs, a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a dual front facing selfie camera with a 20-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor, a 3320mAh built-in battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wifi IEEE 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB2.0, GPS, OTG and other options as well. Other options includes a fingerprint scanner on the front physical home button, audio enhancement features like AK4376 HiFi audio and it measures 152.6×74.2×6.99mm and weights 155.3 grams. The bigger Vivo X9S Plus was having similar features like the X9 but was having a bigger display of 5.85-inch, Snapdragon 653 processor and a bigger 4015mAh built-in battery.
