High-end ASUS_X018DC spotted at TENAA with dual rear camera and a bigger 4030mAh battery

In August, Asus launched their new Zenfone 4 series flagship devices and also launched the new Zenfone V afterwards. But looks like, the company hasn’t yet finished launching high-end phones as a new device has just popped up at TENAA leaking out its specifications and images. The device is listed at TENAA with model number ASUS_X018DC and if we check out the leaked images and specs, we can see that this device carries a dual rear camera and has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. The device is expected to be launched as the new high-end variant of the Zenfone 4 series soon in the upcoming days.

According to the TENAA listing, the new ASUS_X018DC comes with a 5.7-inch TFT QHD display having 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz processor which is currently an unknown Snapdragon processor. The X018DC comes with 3GB of RAM + 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM + 64GB of internal storage variants with both of the variants supporting MicroSD card expandable storage with up to 32GB storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and is expected to support Dual SIMs.

The new Asus device features a dual rear camera with 16-megapixel+8-megapixel cameras with an LED flash. The device also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is backed up by a bigger 4030mAh battery. It comes with connectivity options including 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and other connectivity options. It measures 152.6 × 72.7 × 8.8 mm and weighs 160 grams. It comes with Black, Light Pink and Gold colour options. This device is expected to be officially available in the upcoming days but the exact date of its launch is still not announced by the company.

The company launched the new Asus Zenfone 4 series of devices that comes with ASUS ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Selfie. The latest smartphone launched by the company is the Asus Zenfone V which features a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED Tru2life technology display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 2.2Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor that comes along with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB of eMMC internal storage capacity, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

It also comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box with ASUS ZenUI 3.0 UI, Glass finish, Sapphire Black colour option, a 23-megapixel rear camera with aperture f/2.0, Dual-LED real tone flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support, connectivity option like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/BDS, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port and GPS. The device also comes with audio features such as DTS headphones, Hi-Res Audio and NXP Smart AMP technology for enhanced sound quality.
