Unlocked Nokia 2 launching soon in the US via AT&T and T-Mobile

HMD Global is soon going to launch the new Nokia 2 with a bigger battery in the US via Amazon.com as the device has been spotted listed by the e-retailer priced at $99. The listing shows that the device will be available with T-Mobile and AT&T carriers in the country. The Nokia 2 was launched last month in India in an official event with an entry-level processor but with a bigger battery. The device was previously spotted listed by B&Hphotovideo with pre-order price tag of 99 Euros. The Nokia 2 has already got the FCC approval in US. Nokia 2 comes with a 4100mAh battery and has a Snapdragon 212 processor. The Nokia 2 comes pre-installed with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS but HMD Global has confirmed that it will get monthly security updates and will be upgraded to Android 8 Oreo.

The Nokia 2 comes with support for Google Assistant and has a 6000 series aluminum frame with a polycarbonate back. It is splash proof with IP52 ratings and comes with single SIM and Dual SIM options. It features a 5-inch HD LTPS LCD In-Cell Touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display protection, 1:1300 contrast ratio and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform with Adreno 304 GPU and comes with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 8GB of internal storage capacity that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.

It runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS and is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo) and also supports Dual SIMs. It features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 4100mAh battery and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS, USB 2.0 connectivity options. The device is splash proof (IP52) and comes with 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support. It measures 143.5 x 71.3 x 9.30 mm and supports Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer (G-sensor), E-compass sensors.
