Samsung launches Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) with dual front cameras
Samsung has finally launched the much awaited and rumored Samsung Galaxy A series devices Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018). Both the devices will be available with Black, Orchid Grey, Gold and Blue color options. The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is priced at 499 Euros (around $588) while the bigger Galaxy A8+ 2018 is priced at 599 Euros (around $706.). Both the device will be available in Europe starting from early January 2018. The main highlight of both these phones is its dual front cameras making these the first Samsung phone to feature a dual front facing camera. Both the devices comes with Full HD+Infinity Super AMOLED displays with 18.5:9 display ratio and curved glass on the back and front.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a 5.6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) Exynos 7885 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It come with 4GB of RAM with 32GB / 64GB internal storage capacity option and support for expandable storage up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM option.
It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and has a dual front facing camera with a 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture. It comes with a 3000mAh battery with adaptive fast charging and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options. It comes with water and dust resistant body with IP68 ratings and has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side below the rear camera. It measures 149.2×70.6×8.4mm and weights 172 grams.
The bigger Galaxy A8+ 2018 features a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) Exynos 7885 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It comes with two variants with one having 6GB of RAM + 64GB internal storage while the second one having 4GB of RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage and both supporting expandable storage up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and supports Dual SIMs.
It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and also features a dual front camera with a 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture. It is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with adaptive fast charging and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options. It comes with water and dust resistant body with IP68 ratings and has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side below the rear camera. It measures 159.9×75.7x 8.3 mm and weights 191 grams.
