Google has finally launched the much-awaited new Pixel series device Google Pixel 8a for the Indian market and other markets today. The latest Pixel 8a features an OLED display, Google Tensor G3 processor, Android 14 OS, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage and a bigger battery. Let’s check out the price and specifications of the device.

Google Pixel 8a Price in India
The new Google Pixel 8a is priced at INR 52,999 for the 128GB variant in the Indian market and INR 59,999 for the 256 GB variant. The device is on sale via e-commerce retailer Flipkart and the first sale will happen at 6:30 AM IST on 14th May 2024.
Google Pixel 8a Price in the US
The new Pixel 8a is priced at US $499 for the 128GB variant and US$559 for the 256 GB variant. Pre-orders are available from the online Google store.
Pixel 8a Specifications
The new Pixel 8a features a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED HDR display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2000 nites peak brightness and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the Google Tensor G3 processor with Titan M2 security chip. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 128GB/256GB of (UFS 3.1) inbuilt storage capacity. It runs on the Android 14 OS out of the box and will receive 7 years of updates for the OS, security, and Feature Drop updates. It supports Dual-SIMs (nano + eSIM).
We have a dual rear camera with a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.89 aperture, LED flash, OIS, a Quad PD Quad Bayer and a 13-megapixel 120° Ultra-wide secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and up to 4K 60fps video recording. It also has a 13-megapixel front camera with a 96.5° ultra-wide lens, f/2.2 aperture and up to 4K 30fps video recording support. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4492mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging and wireless charging support.

The device is water and dust-resistant with IP67 ratings. It measures 152.1x 72.7×8.9mm and weighs 188 grams.
